Born in Sofia, Bulgaria, Oggie Marinski began his musical education on the classical guitar at the age of 11 with Maestro Dimiter Doichinov. He received a broad musical education covering music theory adn harmony, as well as piano, trumpet, bass, acordeon, flute,  harmonica and drums.

He received a degree for a professional musician at the age of 19.

 

From 1994 to 2006 he lived in China working as a studio musician and playing electric guitar with local chinese bands.

 

But his real passion has always been the classical guitar as it reveals the incredible beauty  which can be expressed with this ancient instrument. Oggie has a strong passion for the classical guitar which he openheartedly shares with his friends and his audiences.

 

 

Currently, Oggie lives on the Mediteranean island of Ibiza, Spain where he enjoys performing, recording and composing. He performs extensively for weddings, private and corporate events on the island as well as in churches and  old fincas ( traditional spanish houses).

 

His versatile repertoire includes pieces from classical and pre-classical composers as well  as comtemporary masters of the guitar from  Europe, North and  South Amercia and also includes rock,  and pop songs arranged for classical guitar.
